Pisa Airport Terminal Overview

Pisa International Airport (PSA), also known as Galileo Galilei Airport, features a single passenger terminal that handles both domestic and international flights, including regular and low-cost airlines. The terminal is divided into two main levels:

Inside the terminal

Ground Level

  • Arrivals Area: Includes baggage claim, airline ticket counters, and check-in areas A/B.
  • Services: Information office, first aid, lost and found, ticket office and locker room, food and drink concessions, ’La Corte’ shopping area, meeting point, newsstand, hotel information, and APT Pisa Tourist Board.
Many reviewers mention that the airport is overcrowded, especially during peak seasons. Arrive early to allow plenty of time for check-in, security, and passport control.

First Level

  • Departures Area: This is where you’ll find the boarding gates.
  • Gates: The terminal has 16 boarding gates (numbered 01-11 and 21-25). Gates 1-11 are for Schengen flights, while gates 21-25 are for non-Schengen flights.
